Roger and Suzanne take a working vacation at Denali National Park, six million acres of natural wilderness in northern Alaska, to investigate the deaths of a couple they had previously met in Peru and Chile.
The FBI investigation concludes the couple was killed during an accidental attack by a wild bear. But Roger’s partner Vincent Romero has reasons to doubt whether the official conclusion is correct. Roger and Suzanne find themselves stalking a wily killer, who is in turn stalking them.
Who murdered the couple and why were they killed?
Far from their usual haunts for investigations, South America and California, can Roger and Suzanne figure out whodunit in a case they begin with absolutely no clues, no suspects, and a crime scene larger than the entire State of Massachusetts?
